| Rajaena Appleby, artist, Omaha area - "Growing up in South Central Nebraska where fishing and hunting were a part of rural life, I became fascinated by the beauty of the ring-neck pheasant. It eventually led to the framed 8x10 artwork shown here and on my website: www.pheathersartistry.com" Prior to retiring in 2008 and devoting more time to her pheasant art, Rajaena taught music education in public schools here in Nebraska. She spent 16 years with Omaha Steaks managing the test kitchen and educating customers and personnel about beef and other food products. She then went to the American Heart Association for 10 years working in public and professional education. | Has pledged to give 5% of her profits from sales to ‘Reload Nebraska’. |
